Short Course Programs
The CSQ Short Courses Program provides funding for a range of competencies and skill sets for existing and unemployed workers in the civil construction and building and construction industries who want to update or expand their skills and knowledge in specific areas.
CSQ funds important courses and training to make it easier for you to update your skills or the skills of your workers.
Subsidised courses are listed on the CSQ Short Course Application.
CSQ Eligibility
To be eligible for CSQ Funding, you must meet the following criteria:
(a) an Australian or New Zealand citizen; or
(b) a permanent resident of Australia; or
(c) A Visa holder with relevant permission to work.
AND MUST:
(a) be permanently employed in Queensland.
Please note eligibility requirements below are specific to the qualifications you wish to undertake training in. Contact our team to confirm your eligibility.
- An Eligible Worker: Permanently employed in Queensland within the Building & Construction Industry
- Self Employed
- An unemployed eligible worker (unemployed for a period not greater than 6 months who would otherwise meet the requirements of an Eligible Worker)
CSQ Funding Available:
If you’re interested in entering or upskilling in the construction industry, CSQ funding may be able to help to ease your financial strain by subsidising part or all of your chosen course(s).
- To Receive Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) Funding, students must be considered eligible as per the CSQ funding eligibility guidelines*
