Work Safely at Heights deals with the knowledge and skills required to work safely at heights in resources and infrastructure industries.
This short course requires a general to medium level of fitness. Courses are available at either of our training locations (Maryborough and Rockhampton); or on-site at your premises.
Working Safely at Heights includes specific competencies required to undertake safe working practices when working at heights or depths.
The training has application to a wide range of work situations where workers are placed in a position from which falls are possible. This is relevant to any industry where working at height is required including the following industries:
– Civil Construction
– Coal & Metalliferous Mining
– Extractive Industries
Topics covered throughout the course include:
Regulations and safe work procedures.
Identifying the work requirements and instructions for the task.
Accessing and installing equipment.
Performing work at heights.
Cleaning up the work area.
Pre-requisites / Entry Requirements Students to bring along 2 forms of ID.
Industry Focus Any height or depth related work where falls are possible.

Enclosed footwear and appropriate clothing.

Hi-Vis Vest (if required)
Course Outcome Upon successful completion of the Safely Working at Heights short course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment & ID Card.
