Silica Awareness Training

• What is silica?
• Basic health hazards associated with exposure to silica and respirable crystalline silica dust
• Common products containing silica
• Common tasks that could result in exposure
• Typical control measures that may be implemented to protect workers from exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust including engineering controls, work practices and personal protective equipment

You must provide (2) forms of identification. Whilst there are no pre-requisite learning for Silica Awareness, we strongly recommend participants should hold:

• CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry

• Learner Guides
• Assessment Material (theory & practical)
• Tea, Coffee & Water
• Hi-Vis Vest (if required)

Please ensure you wear enclosed shoes and bring your own lunch.
