Course Overview:
The Silica Awareness online course will teach participants what silica is, its health effects, where it may be found in the workplace, and methods to assist workers to work safely with silica.

Whilst there are no pre-requisite learning for Silica Awareness, we strongly recommend participants should hold:
Formal Training:
- Both theory and practical training is provided by industry experienced trainers.
Assessment
- Theory assessment (both a knowledge assessment and a calculations assessment are to be completed).
- Practical assessment is conducted.
