RIIMPO325E Conduct civil construction scraper operations.
Course Overview:
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate a scraper to load, transport and discharge material, and to couple and relocate a scraper.
This unit applies to those working in site based roles.
This unit alone does not provide sufficient skill to independently load and unload equipment. To perform this activity safely, personnel must either complete or be assisting someone who has completed RIIHAN308F Load and unload plant or equivalent.
Formal Training:
- Both theory and practical training is provided by industry experienced trainers.
Assessment
- Theory assessment (both a knowledge assessment and a calculations assessment are to be completed).
- Practical assessment is conducted.
