FWPFGM3217 Fall Trees Manually (Advanced).

Fall Trees Manually (Advanced) is a short course that covers the outcomes required to assess, plan and safely carry out manual tree-felling operations using a chainsaw. This unit covers the felling procedures for trees with a level of complexity that requires significant tree assessment and advanced practical felling skills.
Persons competent in this unit should be able to effectively fell trees of any size, species and condition, including those with significant defects and characteristics that cause excessive felling complexity, that are deemed safe to fell.
Pre-requisites:
Whilst there are no pre-requisite units for this competency, we strongly recommend participants should hold FWPCOT2239 Trim and Cut Felled Trees and FWPFGM3212 – Fall trees manually (intermediate); or equivalent skills and experience before undertaking this course.
